Royce da 5’9 on New Collaborative Album with Eminem: “That might happen”

A new Bad Meets Evil album is not off the cards, but first, Royce will release the PRhyme 3 project.

Royce and DJ Premier have recently been vocal about working on their third PRhyme album. The artists do not reveal much, but they are ready to talk about how inspiring this project is going to be.

Not that long ago, DJ Premier promised that the album would be memorable without revealing whose instrumentals he was going to use:

For PRhyme 2, we were going to use Adrian again, but we didn’t have enough catalogue to take it where I wanted to take it. So, I was like, maybe we should just change it and make it a different person every time. That makes it even more special. Antman Wonder was the next one that Mike was dealing with, and we got with him for PRhyme 2. PRhyme 3 is a doozy. That’s all I can say. That one we are not going to announce until it’s done. But you are definitely going to be like, “Oh, shit, okay!”

Now, Royce, 5’9, carefully teases his new music with Preemo while admitting that he has not put in his part of the job yet:

Preem beats that I have not got the chance to get to yet. Preem is so super focused. I can only dream to be that inspired at his age, where he is at it right now, how long he has been around, all the things he has accomplished and how motivated he continues to just be. That’s definitely inspiring.

Royce made this statement for his former Slaughterhouse bandmate Joe Budden. He also answered the question about the possibility of a new Bad Meets Evil album. According to Nickel, a new collaboration with Marshall is absolutely possible. However, a new Prhyme project is taking priority now. Verbatim:

BME? That could happen. That might happen. But there is more rap music that exists.
