Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem — “Forever” Surpassed 500 Million Streams on Spotify

One of a kind collaboration of four hip hop superstars has reached a new streaming milestone. Unsurprisingly, it demonstrates rather average results for either of the artists who can show multiple tracks from their catalogues streamed over a billion times. But actually, the quadruple participation has not transefered into quadrupling streaming numbers for the song. Still, “Forever”, recorded for a documentary about basketball superstar LeBron James and released on the OST album “More than a Game: Music Inspired by the Film” in 2009, remains a very memorable song, especially loved by athletes. Also, it is a song where is no point to discuss who bodied whom on the track, as Kanye West admitted that he had to rewrite his verse after hearing Eminem’s contribution, and Drake bowed to Em saying that Marshall is “the greatest rapper to ever get on the motherfucking microphone”. Also, it is Em’s verse, Em’s double-speed flow, very different from what other three rappers used, comes to mind when people talk about “Forever”.
