Spotify sent Fifty a special plaque to recognise his streaming achievement. “In Da Club” hit the 1 billion threshold in December 2022, but bureaucracy takes ages, or, in this case, six months, to acknowledge an obvious fact. By the time the commemoration plaque arrived, 50 Cent’s biggest hit has already gained 1.18 billion streams and received its ninth Platinum certification.
